Social workers are conduits, teachers, mentors, advocates, counselors, and friends. One of the vital functions of social workers is to connect. The MSW Class of 2009 has an opportunity to make an impact and change at the School of Social Work. Social workers reach to each other for council and support knowing that when we clasp hands together we become infinitely stronger and more effective in creating change. Last year, the MSW Class of 2008 raised $2,916.00. We have set our ambitious goal at $3,500.00. Raised to date: $1083 from 54 donors. As we transition from students to alumni, we must build on the strengths of fellow alumni and ourselves. To help provide for those who follow us with the necessary tools and resources, please join us in making change. The gift from the MSW Class of 2009 to the next generation could be: • Banner for SSW entrance; • Hallway art project; • Updated lecterns for classrooms; or • Replacement AV projector(s) for classrooms. These are only examples; contributors will vote on how our gift will be utilized. Join us and “be the change you wish to see in the world." Click here to submit your gift online. top |
