The University of Maryland School of Social Work is located in the heart of the UMB campus.  Directly across from the School of Law and University Plaza (a park-like setting), the School is centrally located to the University's other professional schools and library.

The School is a five-story facility split into two sections.  The larger section, built in the 1980s, houses the majority of classrooms, offices, and meetings spaces.  The smaller half of the School is home to the auditorium, many administrative offices, and our Continuing Education Program.

Each classroom features technology that integrates Internet, audio, and video into the teaching and learning experience.  The School also features a laptop computer lab, mobile computer lab, video equipment for student use, video production facilities, online learning, and numerous other technological advantages.
