Licensure

Students are eligible to apply to take the LMSW exam in Maryland once they have begun their final semester of the MSW program. For District of Columbia licensure, students must be within 90 days of graduation.

• NOTE: May graduates should do this after April 1. July graduates should do so after July 1.

Students seeking an LMSW in Maryland are no longer required to submit this letter. Students seeking licensure in other states may request a letter here.

Current students should follow these directions to access to the training materials:

4. Once enrolled, you can access the materials by going to Teachable and then logging in with the email and password that you used to set up your account and the course will be listed under my courses. 

Students will have access to these materials until Fall 2024.
