SPRING ADMISSION

Students may enroll for the spring semester (January) and start taking courses on a part-time basis (6 credits).  They must enter field instruction in the fall of the same year.

• A student entering in the Foundation Year would typically take two of the following: SOWK 600, SOWK 640, or SOWK 670. In the fall, the student would take Foundation Field Instruction (SOWK 635), SOWK 630, and SOWK 600, SOWK 640, or SOWK 670. In the spring, the student would complete the Foundation Curriculum.

• A student entering in the spring with Advanced Standing would enroll in two courses and then start Advanced Field Instruction in the fall.

• A student may not begin their coursework at Shady Grove in the Spring.
