SWCOS CELEBRATING 15 YEARS OF SERVICE
Fifteen years ago, then Dean Jesse Harris had a vision of a new kind of social work outreach to the Baltimore community. Fifteen years later, the School's Social Work Community Outreach Service (SWCOS) is celebrating 15 years of innovative service and the man who made it possible.
"A Celebration of Innovation" takes place Thursday, March 6 from 6 to 9 pm at the Jim Rouse Visionary Center at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore.
Housed at the School of Social Work, SWCOS staff and student interns work to empower underserved individuals, communities, and organizations through innovative and cutting edge social work practice.
