Announcement: SAVE THE DATE (Permanency Planning Conference) June 21 -- 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. -- New Visions for Permanency: Looking at Permanency Planning Through a New Lens -- Conference Center at the Maritime Institute, 692 Maritime Boulevard, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090Tentative Topics Include: -Use of different modalities of therapy -Adoption and effective partnerships -The role of and services for post traumatic stress -Understanding the adolescent brain -Engaging fathers -Fostering media connections -Aging out youth -Holistic services for parents -Educational outcomes This training is offered with the support of the Foster Care Court Improvement Project with co-sponsorship from MARFY. All stakeholders are invited and CINA Training Credit and CEUs for Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology and Licensed Professional Counseling for both Maryland and the District of Columbia Professionals are available. Certified Program Administration Hours are available for Maryland Professionals only. A nominal registration fee may be charged and registration details will follow.
