Announcement: Did you know that the UMB-SSW has the only dedicated graduate social work program offering students an opportunity to focus their studies in the exciting and fast-growing field of Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)?
Have you always wondered what it would be like to practice social work in the broader world of work?
How do you use your management and clinical social work skills to work with employers, employees and their family members?
Do you have an interest in mental health, substance abuse, health/wellness, relationship issues, crisis intervention, and stress management?
If you like variety in your work and the opportunity to be creative in how you work to serve multiple clients, the EAP field may be a good fit for you. To find out more, please attend one of the following 3 upcoming EAP information sessions:
Tuesday, November 3 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. (SSW, Room 2E10)
Friday, November 6 from 1-2 p.m. - PLEASE NOTE LOCATION CHANGE (Shady Grove, Building I, Room 108 Building 3, Room 3225)
Dr. Jacobson, Chair of the EAP Subspecialization will be available to answer questions after a brief introduction that will include a presentation from an EAP alumnus and field instructor. Light refreshments will be served.
