The IDEA Team provides services in instructional design, e-Learning, assessments, online and hybrid learning technologies for the faculty, staff and students of the UMB School of Social Work.
The mission of the IDEA team is to support quality teaching, learning and research by providing services and resources related to instructional design, eLearning, pedagogy, educational technology, assessment and evaluation. We put our knowledge of research-based practices, assessment and alignment of curriculum, tools and technologies for teaching and learning, innovation and experimentation to work for the School of Social Work community. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, the IDEA Team is led by the Assistant Dean of Instructional Design and Technology.
Specifically, we provide resources, workshops, training and support for Blackboard, Collaborate, Tk20, and other academic technologies, as well as for designing online and hybrid courses.
