The University of Maryland School of Social Work is actively engaged in research and evaluation within and around our community and beyond. Our research Centers, Institutes and Programs merge the values and ethics of the social work profession with qualitative and quantitative research methods, along with advanced program evaluation and development of best practices. Our Office of the Associate Dean for Research provides mentoring and consultation, resources for research teams, and management of our pre-award office for grants and contracts to successfully support all research and evaluation endeavors.
