As cited under Program of Study, students are required to complete their MSW Program within four years. Students who enter the program with Advanced Standing must complete the program within one year of full-time study or two years of part-time study, provided the degree is awarded within five years from the baccalaureate graduation. Academic time is computed from the time a student takes the first course at the University of Maryland School of Social Work. For transfer students coming from another CSWE accredited School of Social Work, time is computed from the date of the first course accepted for transfer credit. top last modified on
