An audited course allows the student to be exposed to the content in the course while not requiring the student to complete the course requirements. The course will appear on the student's transcript as an audited course. A student may audit a course on a space-available basis and with the faculty member's permission, with priority given to students taking the course for credit. In cases where the student is taking the course for a grade, s/he may not change to audit once the semester has started. Tuition must be paid for an audited course and may not be used to meet the minimum requirement for residency. It is not possible to register as an "auditor" online.
