Helping to Integrate Technology into Social Work Education

This site gives some information on current projects and projects that may be coming up in the near future. the links below also give information on certain resources created specifically for the faculty of the School of Social Work in response to needs expressed.

The University is currently exploring online assessment systems with security that may suit a majority of the schools so that we can have a consistent university wide solution.They are also exploring collaboration software.

Current Projects/Updates:

Surveys and such that are currently being done.

Faculty Resource Cabinet Site:

Created in response to faculty expressing the need for ease in finding multimedia content for use in teaching in their areas.

Faculty Support Site:

Created in response to faculty needing Blackboard and instructional technology help online.

Faculty Instruction Technology Resources:

Faculty have access to borrowing laptops for themselves or digital cameras and clickers for students from the Media center on the 4th floor. It is wise to reserve these well in advance. Faculty have to sign them in and out. Faculty can use the form under conferencing to book videocopnferencing equipment and support. Faculty can also book media center staff to tape events and put them on the mediasite server.
