Thoughts on the 2016 Election

November 10, 2016    |

Voters across the country have registered their feelings concerning the outcome of the 2016 elections.  Emotions among voters range from sad and angry to excited and happy.  No matter what your emotions may be, the over-arching goal of the University of Maryland School of Social Work remains the same:

The faculty, staff, and students of the University of Maryland School of Social Work affirm our commitment to devote our scholarship, teaching, and service to the attainment of a socially just and inclusive society for all people and to create a welcoming environment in our school for individuals from all backgrounds.

We look forward to working with all our newly elected and re-elected officials to help pursue this dream that is so beneficial to our students and to all Americans.
