Spring Accepted Students

Accepted Students for Spring 2021 Must Complete the Important Steps Below to Secure Admission to the Program.

Step 1‌Step One

Pay Your Deposit by 12/28/2020

PAY ONLINE HERE - You may pay your $300 Confirmation Deposit by credit card or electronic check.

Step 2Step Two

Tuition & Fees-Related Forms

  • FAFSA—To receive financial aid, work study and/or scholarships, you must complete this application. For Spring, applicants should have already completed this form. If you have not done so, please apply immediately.  Also, the priority deadline for the 2020-2021 application is January 31st.   The school recommends that all students complete the FAFSA. Our school code is 002104.

  • MANDATORY Tuition Classification Form (In-State Residency)—All admitted students are classified as “out-of- state” for tuition and fees.  To qualify for “in-state” status students must submit the In-State Classification form. This form should be submitted no later than December 15th. Submit Forms to registrar@umaryland.edu, Fax—410-706-4053, or mail them to: Office of the Registrar, 601 W. Lombard Street, Ste. 240, Baltimore, MD 21201.

 

Step 3Step Three

Submit Field Placement Application within two weeks of paying your $300 deposit.

Field Placement Application—Complete a Field Application for the Fall semester.


Step 4 Step Four

Complete A Brief History of Oppression and Resistance online pre-requisite, which will be available via Blackboard on December 1, 2020. Please note that this self-paced online course will take approximately 15-20 hours to complete, and you will submit journal reflection assignments from this course to your SOWK 610 instructor by the 4th week of classes.

Register for Classes December 15, 2020 through January 15, 2021

COURSE REGISTRATION INFORMATION—Registration opens on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Classes begin on January 19, 2021.
