Dr. Christine Callahan is a Research Associate Professor with the Financial Social Work Initiative (FSWI) at the University of Maryland School of Social Work. She joined the FSWI in July 2012 and conducts research to grow the FSWI as a national leader in financial capability. Her research focuses on financial capability, including financial literacy, in addition to addressing institutional barriers facing low- and moderate-income households and communities.
