United States Senator Ben Cardin of Maryland to address the class of 2024
United States Senator Ben Cardin of Maryland to deliver the Convocation Keynote address for the class of 2024The School of Social Work is honored to have United States Senator Ben Cardin of Maryland deliver the Convocation Keynote address during its graduation ceremony on May 17, 2024.
In 2024, there will be one formal ceremony for each school rather than a university-wide commencement. Please enjoy being with your social work peers and community as we celebrate on May 17.
In addition to the formal SSW ceremony, UMB will host a university-wide informal celebration for graduates and their families on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 4-6pm on the UMB campus.
No, graduating studens do not need to register for the SSW Convocation Ceremony. We have internal behind-the-scenes processes that allow us to be prepared for every graduating student to participate in the ceremony (although participation is not required). See you there!
Accommodation requests can be requested using this link: https://umbforms.wufoo.com/forms/rpe6uii1eyeswb/ Please submit requests no later than May 3, 2024
