The Center for Public Health Social Work Education and Training actively collaborates with The University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work and The University of North Carolina School of Social Work, also HRSA grantees for leadership in public health social work. Additionally, the Center collaborates with national programs of dual degrees in public health and social work in an effort to share ideas and perspectives and to develop a set of national competencies in public health social work.
Locally, the Center for Public Health Social Work Education and Training collaborates with two nationally recognized programs in public health. These include the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s MPH Program and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. These institutions provide the public health component to the dual degree in public health social work. They also provide a network of collaborators as resources for our students at the Center.
