Maureen Tabor, LCSW-C, Social Worker, Faculty Field Instructor, University of Maryland School of Social Work
Maureen Tabor works with families to strengthen protective factors to promote child and family well-being and decrease risks related to child neglect. She has been with Family Connections since 2004 and has served in both direct practice and supervisory roles. Ms. Tabor graduated from Salisbury University in 2003 with her BSW and obtained her MSW in 2004 from University of Maryland School of Social Work. She has been the lead clinician for Trauma-Adapted Family Connections since 2008 and assisted with program training and technical assistance. Ms. Tabor coordinated case assignment and worked collaboratively with students from the School of Nursing for two semesters for the Community Health course. She assisted these students in putting health issues on the table for the families in the program and is interested in continuing to work on enhancing overall physical health and well-being for underserved families in Baltimore City. Ms. Tabor works as the Clinical Supervisor to PHSW Students placed at Family Connections and serves as an advisor to the PHSW Leadership Student Cohort.
