The Network is a membership organization for social workers, working at all levels of management, across a broad and diverse range of human services organizations.
The Network is the only professional association in the United States dedicated to improving the quality of organizations by equipping managers to become effective, “people-centered” leaders, through the Annual Management Institute and our Human Services Management Competencies.
The Human Services Management Competencies define characteristics associated with quality management and describe the skills needed by those working in management positions. Social workers possessing these competencies are qualified to apply for the Certified Social Work Manager(CSWM) credential issued by the Network.
The goal of the Network is to bring together prominent managers and leaders, aspiring managers, and students within the field to share ideas, discuss challenges and enhance skills. The Network offers forums gears to define and to advance the unique skill-set of managers through the following opportunities:
-- Annual Management Institute
-- Human Services Management Competencies
-- Certified Social Work Manager (CSWM) Academy
-- Exemplary Awards
-- Regional Chapters
-- Professional Development Workshops
-- Networking Events
-- Mentorship Programs
-- And more!
