Patrice Forrester has worked with children, teenagers, adults, and families in community mental health facilities as a therapist, diagnostic assessment clinician, and crisis counselor. She has also served as a youth director at her church ministering to adolescents and their families. As a graduate research assistant, she has worked on quantitative and qualitative research projects exploring social service provision in contexts of urban poverty and child and adolescent wellbeing. Patrice enjoys creative writing and jewelry making, and loves to immerse herself in the rich and diverse cultures of this world through travel and cultural enrichment activities.
