UMB SSW Student Government Association (SGA)

What is SGA?  [Constitution]

• SGA addresses student needs, ideas and concerns in the School and works to move the School to action on behalf of those concerns.
• SGA facilitates communication among the student body, faculty and the University.
• SGA is annually funded from student activities fees, which are disbursed to SSW "recognized" student organizations for promotion of the organizations' goals.
• SGA works closely with the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) and the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs to appoint student representatives to serve on faculty committees.

Meeting dates and times are available via our calendar (announced weekly in the School of Social Work Daily Bulletin.)

For additional information about the SGA, you may visit the SGA Office (2E09), telephone the OSA at (410) 706-5100, or send an e-mail message to sga@ssw.umaryland.edu.
