The MSW L.E.A.D. Pilot Registration is Now Open!

This Spring, the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI) is recruiting current MSW students for the MSW Leading for Equity, Anti-Racism, and Diversity (L.E.A.D.) Initiative Pilot!

The L.E.A.D. Institute is a training and coaching series offered by the SSW's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

The MSW L.E.A.D. Institute Pilot may be of particular interest to students interested in improving their anti-racist and anti-oppressive social work practice, learning how to navigate challenging conversations with clients, colleagues, and supervisors, working in DEI capacities, and making systemic change within organizations and institutions.

 
Registration Deadline: Monday, February 27th
MSW L.E.A.D Institute Schedule:
Wednesday, March 29th (In Person: 10 am - 3:30 pm) -
Modules 1 & 2
Thursday, March 30th (In Person: 10 am - 3:30 pm)
Modules 3 & 4
Friday, March 31st Virtual Affinity Group Coaching (Choose One based on how you identify: 10am - 11am or 11:30am - 12:30pm)
 *Virtual Closing: 1 pm - 1:30 pm
 
 
PLEASE NOTE: Two days of field credit will be granted to any student who fully participates in the LEAD Institute (this includes all four (4) modules and coaching). If you choose to participate, please consult with your field instructor. Additional questions regarding obtaining field credit may be directed to Laura Loessner, LICSW, LCSW-C Assistant Director, Field Education.
 
All applications will be reviewed, and those selected will be notified by March 7, 2023.
 
In-Person Trainings will be held at the Baltimore SSW Campus.
 

Lunch will be provided for In-Person Sessions.
