PhD Candidate Nancy Franke and external colleagues Ray Eads, Mo Yee Lee, and Charlotte Bright have a new paper published in Journal of Ethnic and Cultural Diversity in Social Work that explores the perspectives of social work doctoral students who are Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) regarding their programs’ diversity and inclusion and mentoring practices.

PhD Candidate Nancy Franke and external colleagues Ray Eads, Mo Yee Lee, and Charlotte Bright have a new paper published in Journal of Ethnic and Cultural Diversity in Social Work that explores the perspectives of social work doctoral students who are Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) regarding their programs’ diversity and inclusion and mentoring practices. The mixed-methods study found disparities in feeling safe and welcome and scholarly productivity, and highlights the importance of holistic mentoring, improved mentor training, and genuine allyship.
