Donn Fallon Batkis (Donnamarie)

With extensive serving on local, state and national boards, I seek to elevate and empower silenced communities by promoting enfranchisement, a sense of belonging and autonomy of populations across the lifecycle. With over 40 years of experience advocating for the empowerment of marginalized peoples and communities, my career as a bilingual LCSW-C has taken me from NY to Seattle, Denver, Mexico, Argentina, the US Southern Border and Baltimore. Whether serving as an expert witness in immigration court, teaching at the UMB School of Social Work or simply walking with a lonely community member, my focus is on accompaniment, justice, and creating a safe and peace filled society. In addition to my work as a change agent, I am an artist, using Photography, Poetry and Prose in my creative process. The heart and soul and driver of my passions is my family and my faith.
