Johan Orjuela

I am a bilingual clinical social worker, Spanish and English. I've been in the field of social work since 2009. I graduated with my bachelor's and master's of social work. My focused has been on clinical practice, serving individuals from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, Latinx and African American communities. I have an ongoing interest in serving through a trauma informed lens and using trauma focused interventions. I have been able to work both as a supervisor and a clinician for the past 10 years and currently growing as a social worker who manages both staff and mental health programs. I am interested in finding ways to help improve community based mental health services in the non-profit sector.
