Madge Henderson

I have over 20 years of medical social work experience. My professional experiences span the healthcare industry, working in hospitals, hospice care, HIV/AIDS clinics, and dialysis centers. I currently work as a School of Social Work Assistant Professor/ Practicum Coordinator in the Office of Practicum Education at the University of Maryland Baltimore- School of Social Work. In my current role, I build partnerships with Social Work agencies that provide appropriate Graduate level practicum opportunities for students, as well as coordinates various practicum placements for both Foundation and Advanced students. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work degree from Morgan State University, in Baltimore, Maryland and my Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University, in New York. I am returning to school to enhance my skills in Supervision and Mentoring.
