Rebecca Bowman-Rivas

Rebecca Bowman-Rivas is a forensic social worker, clinical field instructor, and mitigation specialist. She has been the director of the Law & Social Work Services program at Maryland Carey Law's Clinical Law Office for more than 20 years. In this capacity, she trains graduate social work students, who collaborate with law students and professors to provide holistic services to clients receiving pro-bono legal services. Areas of practice include decarceration, parole advocacy, immigration, housing, and medically vulnerable individuals.
