The Institute for Innovation and Implementation collaborates with federal, state, and local partners to improve systems and services for children and adolescents across Maryland. We provide training, technical assistance, and evaluation regarding assessments, policy, service array, and financing.
- Child Welfare AcademyChild Welfare Academy- Committed to enhancing safety, permanency & well-being outcomes for Maryland’s children & families through the development & provision of expert training, education & support that is current, relevant, & responsive to the needs of child welfare professionals, resource parents & kinship care providers. 
- Juvenile JusticeJuvenile Justice- Conducts research and evaluation activities that help to shape juvenile justice policies, case processing decisions, and program development and implementation, all with the goal of enhancing outcomes for youth and families involved in the juvenile justice system. 
- Residential Child & Youth Care Practitioners Training ProgramResidential Child and Youth Care Practitioners (RCYCP) Training Program- 7-module online training program that ensures that all RCYCPs acquire foundational working knowledge of direct responsibilities related to caring for children and youth in residential childcare programs.
