Forensic social work is not a single role, but a dynamic and expansive area of practice that intersects with courts, corrections, child welfare, immigration, mitigation, expert testimony, violence prevention, policy, and beyond. From conducting high-stakes assessments and writing court-involved reports to providing clinical treatment in legally regulated settings, forensic social workers operate at the complex intersection of human behavior and the law.

Because forensic social work encompasses such a wide range of professional opportunities, one foundational course is not enough to develop true competence. Ethical complexity, jurisdictional nuance, evidentiary standards, and role clarity demand advanced application and deliberate skill development.

For this reason, we are offering our Forensic Social Work programming in focused Intensives. Each Intensive moves beyond introductory content and into deeper, practice-ready application. Participants will engage in advanced skill-building, case analysis, structured feedback, and real-world simulations designed to strengthen analytical reasoning, and courtroom communication.

Rather than revisiting what you already know, these Intensives are designed to refine what you do; equipping experienced social workers with the rigor, precision, and confidence required for forensic practice.

Whether you are seeking to expand into forensic work or sharpen your existing expertise, our Intensive model allows you to build advanced competency in targeted, high-impact areas of forensic social work.

Below are our offerings:

Spring 2026: Advanced Assessments, Reporting and the Courtroom
