The University of Maryland Social Work PhD Program is located in Baltimore, Maryland. The School of Social Work shares a downtown urban campus with other professional schools that focus on health sciences and human services, including the School of Medicine, Dentistry, Law, Nursing, and Pharmacy. The program is ideally situated for social work research and especially interdisciplinary health sciences work. The Social Work PhD Program is located in a modern and well-equipped building. Facilities for PhD students include bright seminar rooms for classes, a comfortable student lounge, and offices for graduate assistants.
