Requirements
Students must be entering their Foundation field placement in Fall 2025 and must accept the Fellowship for both the Foundation year and Advanced year field placements. Students must sign a Commitment Letter stating intent to pursue and accept employment in the Substance Use Disorder field for two years following graduation

Complete 1 credit courses in Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral and Treatment (SBIRT), and Neurobiology of Opioid Use Disorders |
Clinical concentration with Behavioral Health or Health specialization. |

Attend six training sessions specifically for Fellows during the academic year (Three seminars in fall, three seminars in spring) |
Attend six seminars specifically for Fellows during the academic year (Three seminars in fall, three seminars in spring) |

Complete 3 credit course SWCL 705—Clinical Social Work with Addictive Behavior Patterns |

|
Complete Motivational interviewing training (Summer prior to Advanced Year) |
