About

Naeemah Staggs, MHS, works as a Senior Training Specialist for the Child Welfare Academy. Naeemah has almost 20 years of experience in child welfare, and her expertise lies in foster care, behavioral health, and working with LGBTQ youth. Naeemah’s previous experience has included working for various Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) programs, as well as for the Children’s Bureau as a trainer for the Child and Family Service Reviews (CFSRs), the National Youth in Transition Database (NYTD) reviews, and the Title IV-E Foster Care Eligibility Reviews. A former licensed Counselor, Naeemah has also worked as a therapist for women in substance abuse treatment.
