Financial Capability and Asset Building: Using Evidence to Influence Policy and Practice

The Third Financial Capability and Asset Building Convening--"Using Evidence to Influence Policy and Practice"--took place on January 10-11, 2018, in Washington, DC.  Social work has a unique opportunity for leadership in influencing public policy through research, using data sets and other types of evidence. This event followed up on the 1st and 2nd Financial Capability and Asset Building (FCAB) Convenings and brought together scholars, policy makers, funding experts, and educators to examine research, policy, and education, and to continue to develop and sustain the FCAB social work agenda.
